The boys were playing football when all of the sudden, the ball went over the fence into the rocks right by the lake (where it’s Florida and alligators live).
So we went and got a cast member and they said
“someone will be over to help shortly”. We were all cracking up because we pictured someone with a pole, not a WHOLE PATROL BOAT! E
So lesson learned. Disney has a whole lake patrol to retrieve missing items!

This morning, my son and I woke up early and walked over to Port Orleans Riverside for some cane pole fishing at the Fishin’ Hole, located just past the pool.

Fishing is $6 for every 30 minutes, and Disney provides everything you need, including cane poles and bait (worms or hot dogs). All fishing is catch and release, making it a great, low pressure activity for kids and families.

It’s such a beautiful, peaceful spot and a really fun way to experience Disney magic beyond the parks!

Fishing is $6 for every 30 minutes, and Disney provides everything you need, including cane poles and bait (worms or hot dogs). All fishing is catch and release, making it a great, low pressure activity for kids and families.

It’s such a beautiful, peaceful spot and a really fun way to experience Disney magic beyond the parks!

We’re squeezing in a quick Disney trip before Christmas to celebrate my husband’s birthday and mine, because Disney birthdays just hit different. 🥰

I am SO impressed with the room remodel here. It’s honestly night and day compared to before. For a moderate priced resort, this one is an excellent choice. Charming, quiet, and beautifully refreshed.

Embarkation Day on the Disney Treasure!

Day 5 on the Disney Treasure! Today was dedicated to Halloween!

- I started my day with coffee on the verandah, which I ordered the night before and it was promptly delivered that morning!
- Then sis and I went down to the kids club for an open house and made space goo with Stitch!
- After that it was time for the Royal Gathering, which is a free activity where you get to meet a handful of princesses! But it does need booked ahead of time and can go fast
- After that, the kids got their costumes on and went to the kids clubs (yet again - mom and dad got ditched!)
- While they played, we did Bingo and had lunch at 1923
- Then mom and dad headed to the spa for our couples massages!
- We ended the night back at Marvel for dinner, and this time it was a dinner show with Rocket and Groot!
- Then off to the Halloween stage show and trick or treating!

Yesterday was our first port day, and we were excited to get off the ship and explore Cozumel! It was sad that we had to miss the Virgin Islands, but look at the beach that we got to spend halt the day at! SO gorgeous!!

Then once we got back on the ship, it was time to get ready for Pirate night!! We ate dinner in one of the main dining rooms and ordered from a special Pirate themed menu! Checked out the stage show (complete with fireworks at sea-they’re AMAZING!).

After pirate night, the kids went back to the kids clubs (they’re obsessed) and parents went to watch a show called “Match Your Mate-y” and let me tell you, it was HILARIOUS!

We stayed up until midnight which means that we got to see the kids goodnight in the grand hall!

-mom checked out the formal night dance party with Minnie, Mickey, Daisy and Goofy!
-now mom and brother are headed to bed while sis attempts to make it to midnight in the club where the counselors “turn into goats” at midnight. 😂

Disney Cruises are SO much fun! And way more relaxing than the parks! It’s just a totally different kind of vacation!

One more sea day tomorrow, then off to explore Cozumel for the day!!
